Supreme Council of Universities – Egypt to launch MKCL Arabia’s Digital Citizen Certificate Course

Supreme Council of Universities – Egypt is all set to launch MKCL Arabia’s Digital Citizen Certificate Course on 4th November, 2015. The course will be rolled out by The Cognitive and e-Services Center of the Supreme Council of Universities.

The Digital Citizen Certificate Course is a unique offering by MKCL Arabia for learners to understand the basics of Information Technology and thus, promote the digital literacy movement in Egypt. It is the first national certificate issued by The Cognitive and e-Services Center of the Supreme Council of Universities for the benefit of all segments of the society. This course comprises of:

  • Reading and understanding a highly illustrated book for theory
  • eLearning based self-learning sessions through MKCL’s eLearning Framework
  • Hands-on practice sessions
  • Learning facilitation by certified professionals in form of academic interactions, assessments, and collaboration

During the last 14 years, more than 10 million learners have registered themselves for this course in India and have become smart users of IT. This is perhaps the world’s highest record in the field of bridging the Digital Divide among the masses and promoting Digital Citizenship among them.
